Timesco are representing the country’s health and life science industry in Texas this week as part of a delegation consisting of innovative medical technology companies. It is the first time that a health delegation of this kind has visited Texas and is the first trip in an 18 month programme.

Organised by the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FOC), it’s trade investment body (UKTI) and the UK’s medical technology industry body, the Association of British Healthcare Industries (ABHI), the select delegation will travel to Austin, San Antonio and Houston meting with Texan hospitals and life science organisations.

It provides an opportunity for Texan-based companies to learn about and engage with the UK’s health system and understand how the market works whilst building new relationships to develop and adopt cutting-edge medical technologies in the state.

Shah Fayyaz, CEO of Timesco, said: “We have been involved in the USA market for several years and we have now identified it as a key area of our growth strategy. There are huge synergies between the UK and USA Anaesthesia and Laryngoscopy markets and we are keen to bring our innovative products to this important and influential market place. Partnering with the ABHI for this mission provides us a level of support and market access that should help us achieve our goals quicker.”
